It's well-known by everyone that the Bolshoi Ballet Academy is one of the best schools worldwide. And as a late starter, I thought only schools with history could teach me the what I needed to become a ballet dancer.

I remember almost every day. But what I remember the most is the feeling of growth and mental-physical change. I came as such a newbie to the ballet world and by the end of my studies my artistic worldview had become more realistic and wide. Not to mention I had become a physically stronger young man.

I'm greateful to three amazing teachers from the Academy. Valeri V. Anisimov, because of him I got the chance to study at the Academy. Ilya M. Ryzhakov, I loved his pas de deux classes and still remember his tips and corrections. And mostly Svetlana A. Ivanova. She was my character dance teacher. Because of her I got the chance to dance at every graduation show at the Bolshoi Theater since I got to the Academy. She was always very passionate about the essence of dance. And because of her I found out I had teaching abilities.

It's not as I dreamed but it turns out to be just what I need. I've got to work in a few theaters like Gordeev's Russian Ballet, The Slovak National Theater, Soloist in Samara's Academic Theater and now at NOVAT (Novosibirsk Academic Theater). I've got to dance different versions of many ballets, fell in love with contemporary dance and dipped into complementary occupations as Pilates, Gyrotonic, massage and Gym work.

I'm working at NOVAT at the moment. There are a lot of shows and chances to try yourself in different parts writhing the artistic parameters of the theater. I like it. Specially the stage. It's big and beautiful.

If you want to reach a goal – you got to work for it. Nothing comes "just like that".

I want to become a teacher and bring my knowledge and experience to my country Panama. I want to start my master's in ballet soon at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy.

Be faithful to your dreams and goals. This path is not the easiest but if you are willing to really go for it then give your best. Work smartly.
