  • 250 years of history, traditions and expertise

    The Bolshoi Ballet Academy is proud of many centuries of experience in the education of ballet performers and choreography teachers

  • Unique disciplines

    The Foreign Students Curriculum includes a wide variety of choreography-related disciplines: classical dance, pas-de-deux, folk dance, contemporary dance, old-time dance, etc. Some of the subjects are unique to the Bolshoi Ballet Academy, and cannot be learned elsewhere.

  • Russian studies

    The Bolshoi Ballet Academy has a team of native teachers to train its students in Russian. All foreign students of the Academy must learn Russian. Upon the completion of studies, students get official Russian Proficiency Certificates.

  • Accommodation, daily meals and medical services

    For the entire time of their enrollment, foreign students stay at the Academy’s dormitory, where they are served five free meals each day. Students are also subject to round-the-clock medical aid.

  • Concert participation

    Foreign students will have a chance to perform the theater of the Bolshoi Ballet Academy and to take parts in actual ballet shows at the Bolshoi Theatre and the Stanislavski and Nemirovich-Danchenko Musical Theatre in Moscow, as well as the State Kremlin Palace.

  • Performance at the Academy Theater and at the Bolshoi Theater

    During their studies, the best foreign students get the opportunity to take part in performances of the Academy Theater and the Bolshoi Theater of Russia.
