Japanese Embassy Officials Visit Academy

On February 15, 2021, the Academy was honored with a visit of distinguished guests from the Embassy of Japan in Russia – Mr. Toshio Yamamoto, the Minister and Director of Information Department and Ms. Keiko Kitamoto, Third Secretary.


Marina K. Leonova, Principal of the Academy, welcomed the honored guests, and had a fruitful conversation with them, discussing specific features of training of Japanese students at the Academy and distilling a vector for further development of Russian-Japanese cultural connections in the field of ballet arts.


After the meeting, the guеsts from the Embassy had a chance to talk to Japanese students and trainees of the Academy at the lobby of the dormitory. The students shared their impressions of their lives and studies in Moscow. In 2020/2021 academic year, the Academy enrolls 40 Japanese students in its secondary education and in the higher education programs.
