Memorandum of Understanding between the Moscow State Academy of Choreography and the Bolshoi Theater School in Brazil

We are pleased to announce that a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Moscow State Academy of Choreography, represented by Rector Svetlana Zakharova, and the Bolshoi Theater School in Brazil, represented by Director Pavel Kazaryan, to foster effective cooperation in ballet and choreography between Russia and Brazil.

This year, the Bolshoi Theater School in Brazil celebrates its 25th anniversary. To mark the occasion, a gala concert featuring students from the Moscow State Academy of Choreography was held on September 6th on the New Stage of the Bolshoi Theater. The Academy's signature piece, "Suvorovtsy," choreographed specifically for its students and performed in the second half of the concert, became a symbol of friendship between Russian and Brazilian cultures.
