Students Invited to Bolshoi to Watch Nutcracker

December 28th, the last school day of 2024, was highlighted by a visit to the Bolshoi, where students and members of the faculty and staff had a chance to watch the Nutcracker!

The Academy had just finished the staging of four shows of the Nutcracker (version by Vasili Vainonen) at its own theater, featuring a number of its foreign students. Right after the completion of the shows, the performers became spectators and had an opportunity to watch a different version of the ballet – staged by Yuri Grigorovich.

“As soon as the Snowflakes dance music started, I became a bit nervous, as if I had to go on stage and perform! I am so grateful to Ms. Zakharova for this wonderful New Year present!” – said an Academy student sharing her impressions.
