Stage Performance Concerts at Academy Theater

Early in December 2024, the Bolshoi Ballet Academy held two stage performance concerts at the Academy’s theater. Over two days, the audiences saw more than 70 numbers, including performances by foreign students.

On the first day, the concert was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Galina K. Kuznetsova, former Professor of the Classical Dance Department. Irina Y. Syrova, Merited Arts Worker of the Russian Federation, addressed the audience on behalf of Ms. Kuznetsova’s students.

After the end of day two, Svetlana Y. Zakharova, the Principal of the Academy, congratulated the faculty and the students upon the successful completion of the performances and called upon them to get ready for ballet shows scheduled for the beginning of 2025.
